Shipping and return policies for Berry Good Records

Shipping Info
We ship internationally via TransGlobal Express (USA orders only) and Royal Mail International Standard (all other international orders). Domestic UK purchases are sent Royal Mail 1st Class.

Average shipping times can vary, but generally will arrive within 2-3 weeks of being ordered, or within 1 week for UK customers.

MAXIMUM 2 COPIES PER RELEASE PER CUSTOMER. This is to prevent scalping, but also allows us to ship in an affordable manner. You are free to combine your order to include one of two separate Berry Good Records releases (where stock allows), as these can be shipped as a combined package, saving on shipping costs.

All tapes are shipped in durable slimline cardboard mailers. Where more than one tape is purchased, we will ship these together with secure wrapping.

Orders from the USA include tracking - please note the purchase number when shipping is confirmed! Orders to other countries are NOT tracked by default - if you wish to have this included, please pay an additional £5 at the "name your price" section when ordering, and specify that you want tracked shipping in the "message to Berry Good Records" section. We will, at our discretion, add tracking free-of-charge to any purchase of 2 or more cassettes (except where the destination country does not have tracking available).
Return Policy
In the case of an item arriving damaged, we will offer the customer a replacement of the same release or a different Berry Good Records release (where stocks allow). Failing this, a full refund may be issued (less taxes and Bandcamp fees).

The following are considered damage eligible for a full refund / exchange

- Significant damage to the case (sizeable cracks or a broken hinge)
- Tape label fallen off or ripped on arrival
- Tape shedding (photographic evidence of oxide build-up on tape heads AND the tape itself is needed)
- Visible damage to the tape shell itself

A partial refund of 25% (as cash or store credit) will be offered for minor damage

- Scuffs which noticeably affect the presentability of the cassette case (minor scratches and scuffs will only be refunded at our discretion)
- Small hairline cracks (back of case or in the corners of the front of case)
- Partial peeling / loose label

We do NOT offer refunds for damage to the tape when played (including on first plays) as in almost all cases this is the result of faulty playback from equipment over which we have no control. In the event of damage to the tape itself, photographic evidence must be provided to confirm that it arrived in that manner.

Please allow 1 month from purchase before enquiring about undelivered purchases. We offer a full refund for purchases that have not arrived after 3 calendar months from the date the purchase was confirmed. The unpredictable nature of international shipping means that sometimes parcels can become delayed for various reasons. We ask customers to be patient.

In accordance with UK consumer law, ALL returns claims must be made within 6 months of the date of purchase (NOT arrival) in order to be considered valid. We reserve the right to refuse claims made which appear fraudulent based on timescale or the evidence provided, and abuse of our returns policy may result in blacklisting from future Berry Good Records purchases.

EU CUSTOMERS - We take our responsibilities in the aftermath of Brexit seriously and are endeavouring to ensure smooth delivery of parcels to customers across the EU. IOSS declarations are filled in for EU sales and affixed to each tape, but please let us know if your parcel is still held awaiting customs duty by your resident country (as an example, there have been reports of Spain in particular often double-charging its citizens when buying goods online from the UK). We will refund this after you have paid and confirmed receival of your purchase.
